How it all started

Our team at Ryu-Kin consists of Japanese Captains paired with American deckhands and first mates dedicated to creating the ultimate sport fishing experience on Okinawa. Our team fishes out of the Kin Port with Captain Yamagawa and Family. Ryu-Kin owners include Kameron Burrell and Zack Bacon who have been fishing the waters of Okinawa collectively for more than a decade. Ryu-Kin was born in 2018 when our deckhands linked up with Capt Yamagawa aboard the Japanese Fishing Vessel (Risa Maru). Together Kam, Zack and Capt Yamagawa decided to start a fishing charter that 's main focus was to build the customers ultimate experience.  Catering to all levels of angler, and any nationality in order to provide the ultimate sport fishing experience is our goal. Our team fishes throughout the year as the migratory species change targeting a multitude of different species including but not limited to: Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Skipjack, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin, Rainbow Runner and many others. Our charters can be customized to fit your groups desires, target your preferred species and our deckhands are here to help you achieve the ultimate deep sea experience.

*Note to the customer. It is customary across the globe in the charter industry to tip your deckhands. Deckhands are not payed employees and work solely for tips and fish cleaning.  Our deckhands work extremely hard throughout the duration of your trip completing the labor some tasks associated with making your trip seamless. It is through their work that you are able to focus on fishing and not have to deal with all of the ancillary tasks associated with a fishing charter. Please be aware of their hard work and dedication and take the time to show them your appreciation for all they do.
